for getti pagu....i.e., for chikki etc., add a spoon ful in cold water...wait for few seconds...make a round ball..and then throw it on a stainless steel plate... if it sounds like a mud..u need to wait..if it gives the sound like a small stone thrown on a vessle..then the jaggery is ready
